Job Description

IKEA is currently looking for an enthusiastic Logistics Operations Specialist to join our busy Logistics team. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong problem solving skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Additionally, experience in logistics operations, supply chain management, and/or inventory management is strongly preferred. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are also required.As a Logistics Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the logistics operations, including order processing, inventory management, and customer service. You will be expected to work closely with the logistics team and other departments to ensure that all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. You will also be responsible for resolving any customer service issues that arise and implementing process improvements as needed.We are looking for a motivated individual who is eager to take on new challenges and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and coordinate all aspects of the logistics operations, including order processing, inventory management, and customer service.
  2. Work closely with the logistics team and other departments to ensure that all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  3. Resolve any customer service issues that arise.
  4. Implement process improvements as needed.
  5. Monitor and maintain inventory levels.
  6. Monitor and maintain order fulfillment accuracy.
  7. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  8. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all logistics operations.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service.
  10. Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and customers.
