Logistics Operations Specialist

We’re looking for an experienced Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team at IKEA! In this role, you will be responsible for planning and managing the logistics process, including order management, inventory management, and delivery coordination. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.You should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, as well as at least 3 years of experience in the logistics industry. You should also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:

1. Plan and manage the logistics process, including order management, inventory management, and delivery coordination.
2. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of order fulfillment and delivery.
3. Monitor and analyze logistics performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement process changes.
4. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, warehouses, and transportation companies.
5. Monitor supplier performance and provide feedback on areas of improvement.
6. Develop and implement strategies to track and optimize inventory levels.
7. Create and manage purchase orders and invoices.
8. Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in logistics processes and procedures.
9. Provide technical support for logistics software, such as SAP.
10. Troubleshoot and resolve logistics issues.
