Job Description

At IKEA, we are looking for an Engineering Manager - People Domain who can help us develop and lead our people-based engineering initiatives. The successful candidate will be a passionate, driven leader with a proven track record of success in engineering management. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in developing and managing engineering teams. They should have a deep understanding of the people domain, and be able to lead a team to success by setting clear objectives and providing guidance. We are looking for a candidate who is organized, creative, and has a strong eye for detail. They must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. The successful candidate should also have the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • 5+ years of engineering management experience • Proven track record of success in people-based engineering initiatives • In-depth understanding of the people domain • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Comfort with a fast-paced environment
