- Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude upon arrival at the restaurant.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Seat guests at appropriate tables and ensure they are comfortable and have a pleasant dining experience.
- Answer any questions or inquiries guests may have about the menu or restaurant.
- Manage waitlists and reservations efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host/hostess station.
- Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of service.
- Handle guest complaints or issues in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Upsell menu items and promote special offers or promotions.
- Take and process to-go orders as needed.
- Assist with bussing and resetting tables when necessary.
- Work collaboratively with team members to provide excellent customer service.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Attend training sessions and team meetings as required.
- Continuously strive to improve the overall guest experience.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the restaurant's menu and daily specials.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor.
