Host/Hostess

At IHOP, we’re looking for an outgoing, friendly Host or Hostess to join our team and provide a great experience for our guests. Our Host or Hostess will be responsible for welcoming guests, taking reservations, and seating guests in a timely manner. If you’re passionate about hospitality, have an eye for detail, and enjoy working with people, this is a great opportunity for you!The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant setting. We’re looking for someone with excellent communication and organizational skills, and a friendly, positive demeanor. Additionally, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment is essential. Responsibilities: • Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service. • Take reservations and seat guests in a timely manner. • Monitor restaurant traffic and determine wait times. • Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a professional manner. • Ensure the restaurant is clean and presentable. • Maintain accurate records of reservations, seating, and special requests. • Answer phones and take to-go orders. • Assist with other duties as needed.
