Job Description

At IHOP, we are looking for an experienced Food Expeditor to join our amazing team! We believe in strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must have experience in the restaurant industry and be passionate about providing our guests with the best customer service.The Food Expeditor is responsible for ensuring that all food orders are prepared and served quickly and correctly. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, be organized and detail-oriented, and possess the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Additionally, you must be able to work in a team environment, provide a positive attitude, and have the ability to learn quickly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about food and customer service and is looking for a long-term career in the restaurant industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that all food orders are prepared and served quickly and correctly.
  2. Communicate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure food orders are correct and timely.
  3. Monitor the kitchen area to ensure food is prepared in a timely manner.
  4. Work with kitchen staff to resolve any issues that may arise in the preparation of food orders.
  5. Assist kitchen staff with food preparation and presentation.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  7. Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
  8. Monitor and adjust kitchen staff and server performance as needed.
  9. Ensure timely delivery of orders to customers.
  10. Provide excellent customer service to guests.
