Job Description

IHOP is seeking a dedicated and dynamic District Manager to join our team. As a District Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the operations of multiple IHOP restaurants within your assigned district. We are looking for a motivated individual with a proven track record in multi-unit management.   1. Oversee the operations of multiple IHOP restaurants within the assigned district.
  2. Lead and manage a team of restaurant managers to ensure consistent and exceptional guest experiences.
  3. Drive business growth by setting and achieving sales targets for the district.
  4. Develop and implement strategic plans to increase profitability and achieve company objectives.
  5. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective action plans.
  6. Train and develop restaurant managers on company policies, procedures, and standards.
  7. Ensure compliance with all company and legal regulations, including food safety and labor laws.
  8. Conduct regular restaurant visits and inspections to ensure brand standards are being met.
  9. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute district-level marketing initiatives.
  10. Manage budgets and control costs for the district.
  11. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and growth.
  12. Handle and resolve any guest complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  13. Stay updated on industry trends and competition within the district.
  14. Provide regular reports and updates to upper management on district performance.
  15. Represent the company and uphold its values and standards at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Restaurant Management: A District Manager At Ihop Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Multiple Restaurant Locations, Preferably In The Food And Beverage Industry.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team Of Managers And Employees, As Well As Effectively Communicate With Higher Management And Other Departments.

  • Financial Acumen: A District Manager Should Be Knowledgeable And Experienced In Budgeting, Forecasting, And Financial Analysis To Ensure Profitability And Success Of The Restaurants In Their District.

  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills: Ihop Is Known For Its Friendly And Welcoming Atmosphere, And A District Manager Should Have A Strong Focus On Providing Excellent Customer Service To Maintain Customer Loyalty And Satisfaction.

  • Proven Ability To Drive Sales And Increase Revenue: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have A Track Record Of Driving Sales And Increasing Revenue In Their Previous Roles, Through Effective Marketing Strategies, Operational Improvements, And Customer Engagement.
