They should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to effectively coordinate with internal departments and external vendors. In addition, they should be able to work autonomously and be able to take initiative to problem solve on the spot.The Catering Coordinator will be responsible for the planning and coordination of catering events, from start to finish. This position requires a highly organized individual with the ability to multitask and manage multiple events at once.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning and coordination of catering events from start to finish
• Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors to ensure flawless execution of events
• Monitor and track catering orders, ensuring that orders are delivered on time and that all orders are accurate
• Ensure that all food and beverages meet the highest standards of quality and safety
• Handle payment processing and invoicing of catering events
• Develop and maintain relationships with outside vendors to secure the best possible pricing
• Monitor budget for catering events and identify areas to reduce costs
• Take initiative to problem solve on the spot and resolve any issues that arise during events
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure a delightful dining experience for all customers
