Job Description

IHOP is seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar Manager to join our team. As the Bar Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our bar operations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and profitability.   1. Oversee all aspects of the bar operations, including inventory management, ordering, and scheduling.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability in the bar area.
  3. Create and maintain a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for guests.
  4. Train and mentor bar staff on customer service, drink recipes, and company policies.
  5. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  6. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to prevent waste and loss.
  7. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  8. Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  9. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and implement new ideas to improve the bar's offerings.
  10. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, address issues, and recognize outstanding performance.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  12. Create and maintain a budget for the bar, including cost control measures.
  13. Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and expenses.
  14. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the bar's operations to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  16. Lead by example and uphold the company's standards of professionalism and excellence.
  17. Handle any staffing issues, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  18. Coordinate with other managers to ensure smooth overall operations of the restaurant.
  19. Handle any other duties as assigned by upper management.
  20. Display a positive attitude and promote a collaborative and supportive work environment for all team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In The Food And Beverage Industry: A Qualified Bar Manager At Ihop Should Have A Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role In The Food And Beverage Industry, Preferably In A High-Volume Restaurant Environment.
