IHOP is looking for an experienced Bakery Assistant to join our team and help us provide our customers with the tasty treats they know and love.As a Bakery Assistant, you'll be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of cakes, pastries, and other baked goods. You'll also be in charge of keeping our bakery area clean and organized, as well as displaying our freshly-baked treats in a visually-appealing way.The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of one year of experience in a professional kitchen setting and a good knowledge of baking techniques. You'll also need to be a team player with excellent communication and organizational skills. Responsibilities of a Bakery Assistant:

  1. Prepare and bake a variety of cakes, pastries, and other baked goods.
  2. Keep the bakery area clean and organized.
  3. Display freshly-baked treats in a visually-appealing way.
  4. Work as part of a team with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  5. Maintain a friendly, upbeat attitude.
  6. Stand for long periods of time.
  7. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
  8. Follow recipes and instructions accurately.
  9. Monitor and adjust baking times and temperatures as necessary.
  10. Ensure all supplies are stocked and ready for use.
