Job Description

IHOP is looking for an enthusiastic and highly-motivated Bakery Assistant to join our team! We are looking for an individual with a love of baking and an eye for detail who will be able to help us continue to provide the highest level of quality bakery products for our guests.The ideal candidate will possess a friendly and professional attitude along with excellent customer service skills. They should also have a keen eye for detail and be able to follow instructions and recipes accurately. A background in baking is preferred but not essential, and a willingness to learn is a must. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare bakery items according to recipes and instructions
  • Monitor and adjust baking processes to ensure quality standards are met
  • Ensure that all ingredients and supplies are available and stored properly
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Monitor inventory and restock as needed
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Assist with special orders as needed
  • Follow all safety and sanitation regulations
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise with bakery products
