The Bakery Assistant is responsible for assisting the Head Baker in producing all bakery items to exact specifications, including cakes, muffins, pies, and more. The Bakery Assistant is also responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace and ensuring that all food safety guidelines are followed.Qualifications:• Previous experience in a bakery setting• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.• Knowledge of food safety regulations• Ability to stand for extended periods of time• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Head Baker in producing all bakery items to exact specifications, including cakes, muffins, pies, and more.
2. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
3. Ensure that all food safety guidelines are followed.
4. Stock ingredients and supplies as needed.
5. Follow recipes and baking instructions.
6. Monitor and adjust baking times and temperatures.
7. Decorate cakes and other bakery items with frosting and other toppings.
8. Ensure that all baked items meet quality and presentation standards.
9. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of bakery equipment.
10. Assist in training new bakery staff members.
