Job Description

This role is defined as the “Trends Champion” for Hyundai and Genesis is responsible for understanding, identifying, and socializing market and consumer trends throughout the company. The person in this role will leverage custom and syndicated data sources to explore new trends that we should consider as a business and provide recommendations on new mobility solutions, possible new business opportunities or partnerships. Thorough analysis of complex data sources (primary and secondary) to find market-based patterns in data to “tell a story” that has meaningful forward-looking business implications. Creating presentation in MS Powerpoint and presenting results to a large stakeholder audience (30+ attendees) including senior-level executives. Success in this role will likely come from someone who has an innate curiosity about market consumer trends and can clearly translate market trends into product and service ideas in a compelling way.

Job Qualifications

Master’s degree a plus.
Strong knowledge of research methods (both quantitative and qualitative).
Strong track record of transforming analyses into straightforward, digestible, and impactful storytelling presentations
Knowledge of the automotive or mobility industry.
Nine to twelve years of combined market trends and market research experience.
