Job Description

Data Scientist, Vehicle Data & Monetization is responsible for conducting analytics in partnership with various business units across the enterprise. Engage with Hyundai/Genesis business units to fully understand their analytics needs. Manage analytics projects related to vehicle data and monetization. Act as subject matter expert regarding vehicle data. Manage and give direction to external vendor data science resources. Pre-process, clean, and analyze large data sets. Conduct exploratory data analysis. Create new input features and build end to end data pipeline for machine learning models. Build and optimize models using machine learning techniques. Identify implications and make recommendations. Respond to emails, calls, in-person inquiries and requests.

Job Qualifications

Master’s degree a plus.
5+ years of experience building ML models
Excellent Microsoft Power point presentation development skills.
