Manage the development of future vehicle pricing strategies (new models, redesigns, facelifts, product enhancements) for select segments and future whitespace. Analyze each models competitive environment and create insightful pricing recommendations and support documents (price structures/profitability analysis) customized specifically to each model’s unique market circumstances. Collaborate with North American regional Product Planning, Finance, and In-Market Pricing teams as well as Global headquarters to understand vehicle package plans, financial goals, and sales objectives of select Hyundai models. Incorporate understanding into future price positioning recommendations. Analyze current market trends and measure pricing performance relative to each model’s competitive set. Prepare pricing documents for Executive management presentations to obtain approval for each product milestone. Analyze and provide recommendation for ad-hoc pricing strategy-related requests. Establish oneself as a subject matter expert in regard to pricing and packaging strategies as well as a deep knowledge of the competitive landscape for assigned models.
