Analyze, compile, and record financial activity from multiple locations and countries in the LATAM region. Record journal entries and prepare supplemental information to support the entries. Calculate and prepare accruals and supplementary schedules to ensure expenses are properly stated and in the correct period. Prepare bank reconciliations and advise on the accounting for non-standard transactions. Process and reconcile payrolls from multiple locations and countries and analyze related employee benefits Research reconciliations issues. Complete month end closing tasks adhering to strict time schedule. Prepare monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts and present analysis at monthly close meeting. Analyze financial activity to ensure adherence to GAAP. Collect all open accounts receivable invoices for direct customers. Proactively initiate contact with direct customers on a regular basis; maintain and expand business relationships with both external customers and internal stakeholders.
