We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient recovery of our patients after surgery. Provide exceptional care to patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) following surgery
Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and assess and manage pain levels
Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure a smooth and safe transition from the operating room to the PACU
Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and discharge instructions
Document and maintain accurate patient records and communicate any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans
Remain up-to-date on best practices and advancements in the PACU setting
Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times, providing emotional support to patients and their families during the recovery process.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree Or Higher In Nursing From An Accredited Institution
Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of California
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Acute Care Setting, Preferably In The Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (Pacu)
Bls, Acls, And Pals Certifications
Strong Critical Thinking Skills And Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment, Managing Multiple Patients With Complex Medical Needs
