Registered Nurse - Mother Baby Unit

We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Mother Baby Unit at Huntington Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering excellent patient care and a passion for helping mothers and babies in the community. Required Qualifications: • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California • Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience in a Mother Baby Unit • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills • Ability to work in a collaborative and team-oriented environment • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment • Knowledge of state regulations related to patient care • A willingness to learn and stay up-to-date on new technology • Must be able to work nights and weekends, as needed If you have a passion for helping mothers and babies, and you meet the qualifications listed above, we would love for you to join our team at Huntington Hospital.

Responsibilities: • Provide excellent patient care, including assessments, medications, treatments and procedures • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive optimal care • Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of documentation • Monitor patient progress and provide regular updates to medical staff • Assist in the development of care plans for mothers and babies • Educate patients and family members about treatments and care • Administer medications and injections as prescribed • Follow all safety protocols and regulations • Maintain a clean and safe work environment • Work nights and weekends when needed
