Job Description

The Huntington Hospital is excited to offer an opportunity for a talented and passionate individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will assist the pharmacy staff in filling prescriptions, stocking shelves, and providing customer service to those in need. We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the pharmacy industry with excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or its equivalent, be proficient in the use of computer systems, and have the ability to work independently and within a team. Responsibilities:

Accurately prepare and dispense medications according to prescription orders
Receive and verify prescription orders from healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate records of all medications dispensed
Ensure prescriptions are filled correctly and in a timely manner
Assist customers with inquiries about medications and provide appropriate information
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Follow all pharmacy regulations and laws
Assist with stocking shelves and restocking inventory
Provide exceptional customer service to those in need
Operate computer systems to process and fill prescriptions
Work independently and within a team to achieve objectives
