Nutrition Assistant

Huntington Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic Nutrition Assistant to join our team and create a safe, supportive and enjoyable mealtime experience for our patients. We’re looking for a reliable and organized individual who will be responsible for delivering a variety of meals to patients, as well as stocking and organizing kitchen supplies. This Nutrition Assistant will work closely with the Nutrition Services team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.The successful candidate should possess excellent organizational and communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient service. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards, and prior experience in a similar role. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and deliver meals to patients in a timely manner.
2. Stock and organize kitchen supplies.
3. Ensure all food is up to safety and sanitation standards.
4. Monitor patient meal preferences and dietary restrictions.
5. Address any patient complaints or concerns.
6. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and all dining areas.
7. Ensure all meal times are enjoyable for patients.
8. Collaborate with Nutrition Services team.
9. Provide excellent customer service.
10. Comply with all health and safety regulations.
