- Conduct neurophysiological tests and procedures to diagnose and monitor disorders of the nervous system.
- Analyze and interpret test results, providing accurate and timely reports to physicians.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor and adjust equipment settings during procedures to ensure accurate data collection.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in neurophysiology and implement new techniques and technologies as appropriate.
- Educate patients and their families on test procedures and results.
- Document all procedures and results accurately and maintain patient records.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental processes.
- Attend and participate in departmental meetings and trainings.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
Master's Or Doctoral Degree In Neurophysiology, Neuroscience, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Clinical Or Research Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.
Certification In Neurophysiology Or Related Field From A Recognized Organization (E.g. Abret).
Excellent Knowledge Of Neurophysiological Testing Techniques And Equipment.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Report On Complex Data.
