Monitor and analyze patients' vital signs to ensure their safety and well-being.
Report any concerning or abnormal vital signs to the appropriate medical staff.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patients' vital signs.
Set up and operate various monitoring equipment, including but not limited to EKG machines and blood pressure monitors.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with monitoring equipment.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
Follow all hospital protocols and procedures for patient monitoring.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding their care.
Stay up-to-date with new monitoring technologies and techniques.
Attend training and educational sessions as required by the hospital.
Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
Assist in emergency situations as needed.
Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or hospital management.

Job Qualifications

High School Diploma Or Equivalent.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Monitoring Or Telemetry Role.
Certification In Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls).
Strong Knowledge Of Ekg Interpretation And Ability To Recognize Abnormal Cardiac Rhythms.
Proficient In Using Monitoring Equipment And Electronic Medical Records Systems.
