  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations and management of the Clinical Department in Medicine at Huntington Hospital.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
  3. Develop and implement strategies for improving patient care and enhancing the overall performance of the Clinical Department.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration and coordination of patient care.
  5. Monitor and evaluate departmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards related to patient care and department operations.
  7. Develop and manage departmental budget, including forecasting and cost containment measures.
  8. Serve as a liaison between the Clinical Department and hospital administration, providing regular updates and reports on departmental activities.
  9. Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new clinical staff members.
  10. Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with all members of the healthcare team to promote a patient-centered approach to care.
  11. Stay informed of latest developments and advancements in the field of Medicine, incorporating best practices into departmental operations.
  12. Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development among clinical staff.

  14. Handle any patient or staff complaints or concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  15. Act as a role model for professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior in all interactions with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Leadership Role, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Clinical Operations, Quality Improvement, And Regulatory Compliance.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Lead A Multidisciplinary Team.

  • Current Rn License In The State Of California And Certification In A Relevant Specialty Area (E.g. Acls, Bls).
