Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Specialty Clinic team on a full-time basis. As a Lead LVN, you will have the opportunity to utilize your clinical expertise and leadership skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.   1. Provide leadership and direction to the LVN team, including training and overseeing their daily activities.
  2. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
  3. Utilize your clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
  4. Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and enhance the efficiency of the Specialty Clinic.
  5. Act as a resource and mentor to LVN staff, providing guidance and support in the delivery of patient care.
  6. Monitor the performance of LVN staff and provide timely feedback to promote professional growth and development.
  7. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements related to patient care, safety, and infection control.
  8. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify areas for improvement and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  9. Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatments, and medications to promote self-care and optimal health outcomes.
  10. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff by adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  11. Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and development to enhance leadership skills and clinical knowledge.
  13. Adhere to the hospital's mission, vision, and values in all aspects of job performance.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinic Manager or other members of the leadership team.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Lvn License: The Candidate Must Possess A Current And Valid Lvn License From The State Of California, Demonstrating Their Education And Training In Nursing.
