Oversee and manage a team of Licensed Vocational Nurses, ensuring they provide exceptional patient care and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
Serve as a role model and mentor for other LVNs, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Collaborate with the nursing team and other healthcare professionals to create and implement patient care plans.
Monitor and assess patient needs, administer medications and treatments, and provide accurate and timely documentation.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive and compassionate care.
Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Stay up-to-date on current healthcare practices and advancements to provide the highest level of care to patients.
Provide support and assistance to physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient advocacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
