- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as HVAC system inspections, filter changes, and equipment lubrication to ensure the safety and functionality of hospital facilities.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as needed to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Utilize strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues related to building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Conduct regular inspections of hospital facilities and report any potential safety hazards or maintenance needs to appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to prioritize and complete work orders in a timely manner.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A General Maintenance Mechanic Should Have A Minimum Educational Requirement Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Ensure A Basic Understanding Of Math, Reading, And Writing Skills.
Technical Training Or Certification: Some Employers May Require Candidates To Have Completed An Accredited Vocational Or Technical Program Related To Maintenance Or Have Industry-Specific Certifications Such As Osha Safety Training.
