Environmental Service Aide

Huntington Hospital is seeking an Environmental Service Aide to join our team! We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and conscientious individual to provide excellent service to our patients, visitors, and staff. The successful candidate should have a passion for creating a clean and safe environment for all to enjoy.The ideal candidate for this position will have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in a similar role, and strong customer service skills. They should also have the ability to work independently and be comfortable using cleaning supplies and equipment. Responsibilities:

1. Adhere to the hospital's safety standards and regulations while operating cleaning supplies and equipment.
2. Clean and sanitize patient rooms, restrooms, waiting areas, and other common areas.
3. Empty garbage and recyclables and transport them to designated areas.
4. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and order new supplies as needed.
5. Follow all infection control policies and procedures.
6. Assist in maintaining cleanliness in highly trafficked public areas.
7. Perform general housekeeping duties as needed.
8. Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
9. Work effectively with a team to ensure the highest quality of service.
10. Monitor and report any maintenance issues to management.
