  1. Provide hands-on patient care: The Clinical Care Partner will be responsible for assisting patients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and feeding. They will also monitor vital signs, administer medication, and provide basic medical treatments as directed by the healthcare team.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals: The Clinical Care Partner will work closely with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients. They will communicate important information about a patient's condition, progress, and needs to the rest of the team.
  3. Foster a compassionate and supportive environment: The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for helping others and creating a positive and welcoming environment for patients. They will provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during their stay at the hospital.

Maintain accurate documentation: The Clinical Care Partner will be responsible for accurately documenting patient information, including vital signs, treatments administered, and any changes in the patient's condition.   5. Adhere to safety and infection control protocols: As a member of the healthcare team, the Clinical Care Partner will follow all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the health and safety of patients and staff.   6. Assist with patient education: The Clinical Care Partner will assist in providing education to patients and their families on managing their condition, self-care techniques, and any necessary lifestyle changes. They will also provide resources and referrals to community resources as needed.
  7. Display exceptional communication skills: Strong communication skills are essential for this role. The Clinical Care Partner will communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Clinical Care Partner At Huntington Hospital Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That Candidates Have A Basic Level Of Education And Can Understand And Follow Instructions.

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: Candidates For Clinical Care Partner Should Possess A Cna Certification From An Accredited Program. This Certification Demonstrates That Candidates Have Received Proper Training And Have The Necessary Skills To Provide Basic Patient Care.

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Huntington Hospital Requires All Clinical Care Partners To Have Current Bls Certification. This Certification Shows That Candidates Are Trained In Basic Life-Saving Techniques And Are Prepared To Handle Emergency Situations.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Clinical Care Partners Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills In Order To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. This Includes The Ability To Listen Actively, Provide Clear Instructions, And Show Empathy And Compassion Towards Patients.

  • Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting: While Not Always Required, Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting Can Be Beneficial For Candidates Applying For A Clinical Care Partner Position. This Experience Can Include Working As A Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Or Other Similar Roles. It Demonstrates That Candidates Have A Basic Understanding Of Healthcare Practices And Can Adapt Quickly To The Hospital Environment.
