Huntington Hospital is looking for an experienced Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of their patients. We are searching for an individual with well-developed clinical knowledge and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have a sincere commitment to providing outstanding patient care and a desire to be part of a community-oriented healthcare team.The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications: a valid state license to practice as an occupational therapist assistant; a minimum of an associate degree in occupational therapy; a working knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and standards of practice; and a willingness to stay current with the latest trends and developments in the field. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work with diverse populations, are also essential.

Responsibilities:

Provide excellent patient care services in accordance with the state laws and regulations.
Ensure that the prescribed occupational therapy program is administered and evaluated on a regular basis.
Develop and maintain accurate patient records.
Assist in the development of treatment plans for patients.
Educate patients and their families about the therapeutic process.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for patients.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in the field of occupational therapy.
Maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Participate in continuing education and training activities.
Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
