  1. Conduct regular audits and reviews of trade compliance processes and procedures to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
  2. Monitor and evaluate changes in trade compliance laws and regulations, and communicate any updates or changes to relevant stakeholders.
  3. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, including logistics, supply chain, and legal, to ensure trade compliance is integrated into all business processes.
  4. Conduct training and provide guidance to employees on trade compliance regulations and best practices.
  5. Identify potential risks and areas for improvement in trade compliance processes, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  6. Collaborate with external customs brokers and other third-party service providers to ensure accurate and timely submission of required documentation.
  7. Support the maintenance of import/export records and documentation in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  8. Assist in the preparation and submission of import/export licenses, permits, and other required authorizations.
  9. Stay updated on changes in trade compliance regulations and industry best practices.
  10. Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve any trade compliance-related issues or concerns.
  11. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting of trade compliance data.
  12. Prepare and submit periodic reports to management on trade compliance activities and results.
  13. Continuously improve trade compliance processes and procedures to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert on trade compliance matters and provide guidance to other team members.
  15. Represent the company in trade compliance-related meetings and discussions with government agencies and external partners.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Trade Compliance, Preferably In A Multinational Corporation

  • Strong Understanding Of Global Trade Regulations, Including Export Controls And Sanctions

  • Experience With Trade Compliance Software And Systems, Such As Sap Gts Or Descartes

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Apply Complex Trade Regulations To Business Operations.
