- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and contracts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop sourcing solutions that meet those needs.
- Monitor and track supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and cost effectiveness.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through proactive planning and effective supplier relationship management.
- Stay informed about market trends and industry developments to inform sourcing strategies.
- Utilize data and analytics to make data-driven decisions and continuously improve sourcing processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration and drive innovation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
- Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to provide updates on sourcing activities and maintain alignment with business goals.
- Manage supplier contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain a network of potential suppliers to support future business needs.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the sourcing team to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and implement them within the sourcing department.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Strategic Sourcing Or Procurement, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Engineering Industry.
Strong Analytical And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Identify Cost-Saving Opportunities And Drive Supplier Performance.
Knowledge Of Global Supply Chain Management, Including Sourcing Strategies, Supplier Relationship Management, And Risk Mitigation.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Suppliers And Internal Stakeholders.
