  1. Conduct in-depth analysis of tax implications for mergers and acquisitions, including potential risks and opportunities.
  2. Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's mergers and acquisitions activities.
  3. Provide expert guidance and recommendations on tax-related matters to key stakeholders, including senior management and external advisors.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax considerations are incorporated into all stages of the mergers and acquisitions process.
  5. Stay up-to-date on tax laws and regulations related to mergers and acquisitions and make necessary adjustments to strategies accordingly.
  6. Prepare and review tax-related documentation and disclosures for mergers and acquisitions, including tax due diligence reports and tax provisions.
  7. Manage and oversee tax compliance for mergers and acquisitions, including coordinating with external auditors and tax authorities.
  8. Identify tax planning opportunities and proactively make recommendations to minimize tax liabilities.
  9. Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide clear and concise explanations to non-tax professionals.
  10. Build and maintain relationships with external tax advisors and other external stakeholders.
  11. Train and mentor junior tax team members on mergers and acquisitions tax matters.
  12. Continuously assess and improve internal processes and procedures related to mergers and acquisitions tax planning and compliance.
  13. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and provide regular updates on tax-related issues and opportunities.
  14. Represent the company in tax-related audits and investigations related to mergers and acquisitions.
  15. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards related to tax planning and compliance.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With Attention To Detail And Accuracy.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Corporate Tax, Specifically In Mergers & Acquisitions

  • Strong Knowledge Of Us Tax Laws And Regulations

  • Cpa Certification Preferred
