  1. Develop and implement safety programs and policies in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  2. Conduct thorough assessments of workplace hazards and risks to identify potential safety issues.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
  4. Train employees on safety procedures and protocols to promote a culture of safety awareness.
  5. Monitor and track safety metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  6. Investigate and report incidents and accidents, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations to continuously improve safety processes.
  8. Serve as a subject matter expert on health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  9. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify any potential hazards or non-compliance issues.
  10. Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to prepare for potential safety incidents.
  11. Communicate and collaborate with management to ensure safety initiatives are prioritized and properly resourced.
  12. Provide guidance and support to other team members on safety related matters.
  13. Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies and represent the company during safety audits and inspections.
  14. Review and update safety policies and procedures as needed to maintain compliance with regulations.
  15. Champion a culture of safety by promoting safety awareness and encouraging employee involvement in safety initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Health, Safety, And Environmental (Hse) Regulations And Compliance Standards, Including Osha, Epa, And Iso.

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Effective Hse Programs And Initiatives, With A Focus On Accident Prevention And Risk Management.

  • Strong Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Mentor Team Members, As Well As Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Promote A Culture Of Safety.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Hse Policies And Procedures To All Levels Of The Organization.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety, Environmental Science, Or A Related Field, With A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within The Hse Field. Professional Certifications Such As Csp, Cih, Or Chmm Are Preferred.
