
Sr Hardware Environmental Test Engineer

- Conduct environmental testing of hardware components, sub-assemblies, and full systems to ensure they meet industry and company standards.
- Develop and implement test plans and procedures for various environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, vibration, and shock.
- Analyze and interpret test data to identify potential design flaws or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing into the product development process.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in environmental testing techniques and incorporate them into testing procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during testing.
- Ensure all testing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Communicate test results and recommendations to project managers and engineering teams.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and team members.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures during testing.
- Continuously look for ways to improve testing processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input for improving product reliability and durability.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of test data and reports.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source necessary testing equipment and materials.
- Act as a subject matter expert on environmental testing for the company and provide guidance on best practices.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Or Mechanical Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Environmental Testing Of Hardware Components, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Aerospace Industry.
Extensive Knowledge Of Environmental Testing Standards And Procedures, Such As Mil-Std-810, Do-160, And Rtca/Do-160.
Proficient In Using Test Equipment And Instrumentation, As Well As Data Acquisition And Analysis Tools.
Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Troubleshoot Issues In Testing Processes And Equipment.
