  1. Conduct environmental testing of hardware components, sub-assemblies, and full systems to ensure they meet industry and company standards.
  2. Develop and implement test plans and procedures for various environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, vibration, and shock.
  3. Analyze and interpret test data to identify potential design flaws or areas for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing into the product development process.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in environmental testing techniques and incorporate them into testing procedures.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during testing.
  7. Ensure all testing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  8. Communicate test results and recommendations to project managers and engineering teams.
  9. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and team members.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures during testing.
  11. Continuously look for ways to improve testing processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  12. Participate in design reviews and provide input for improving product reliability and durability.
  13. Maintain accurate and organized records of test data and reports.
  14. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source necessary testing equipment and materials.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert on environmental testing for the company and provide guidance on best practices.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Or Mechanical Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Environmental Testing Of Hardware Components, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Aerospace Industry.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Environmental Testing Standards And Procedures, Such As Mil-Std-810, Do-160, And Rtca/Do-160.

  • Proficient In Using Test Equipment And Instrumentation, As Well As Data Acquisition And Analysis Tools.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Troubleshoot Issues In Testing Processes And Equipment.
