- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and mitigate risks.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance, including monitoring contract compliance and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering and operations, to ensure sourcing decisions support project timelines and quality standards.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in sourcing and supply chain management.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as cost savings and supplier performance, to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize sourcing processes and drive efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements, in all sourcing activities.
- Mentor and train junior sourcing team members, as needed.
Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Or Supply Chain Management.
Experience In Negotiating Contracts And Managing Supplier Relationships.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or Related Field.
Strong Understanding Of Sourcing Strategies And Supply Chain Processes.
Proven Track Record Of Cost Savings And Process Improvements In A Corporate Procurement Environment.
