- Conduct research and development activities in the field of electron optics to support the advancement of company products and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Design and execute experiments to evaluate new technologies, materials, and processes related to electron optics.
- Analyze and interpret data, and provide insights and recommendations for product improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments in electron optics, and incorporate new findings into research and development projects.
- Lead and mentor junior scientists and engineers, providing guidance and technical expertise.
- Maintain and operate specialized equipment and instrumentation in the Electron Optics Lab.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols in the lab.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes and protocols to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with external partners, such as universities and research institutions, to enhance research capabilities and access cutting-edge technology.
- Prepare and present research findings and progress reports to management and other stakeholders.

Advanced Degree In Physics Or Related Field: A Senior R&D Scientist In The Electron Optics Lab At Honeywell Should Possess An Advanced Degree (Phd Or Equivalent) In Physics Or A Related Field Such As Electrical Engineering Or Materials Science. This Level Of Education Demonstrates A Deep Understanding Of The Principles And Concepts Of Electron Optics As Well As The Ability To Conduct Advanced Research In This Field.
Extensive Experience In Electron Optics: Honeywell Requires Candidates For This Position To Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience Working In The Field Of Electron Optics. This Experience Should Include Hands-On Experience With Electron Microscopes And Other Electron Optics Equipment, As Well As A Strong Theoretical Understanding Of Electron Beam Optics.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Senior R&D Scientist, One Of The Key Responsibilities Will Be To Develop New Methods And Techniques For Optimizing Electron Optics Systems. This Requires Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, As Well As The Ability To Think Creatively And Approach Problems From Different Angles.
Proven Track Record Of Successful Research Projects: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Will Have A Strong Track Record Of Successful Research Projects In The Field Of Electron Optics. This May Include Publications In Peer-Reviewed Journals, Patents, Or Other Evidence Of Innovative Research And Development.
Team Leadership And Project Management Experience: As A Senior R&D Scientist, The Candidate Will Also Be Responsible For Leading And Managing A Team Of Engineers And Scientists.
