- Manage and negotiate complex contracts with clients to ensure successful partnerships and business outcomes.
- Conduct thorough analysis of contract terms and conditions, identify potential risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute contract strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients regarding contract related inquiries, issues, and concerns.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring timely and effective communication throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Conduct regular audits of existing contracts to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements and industry standards.
- Prepare and review contract documents, including proposals, amendments, and addendums, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor contract performance and make recommendations for improvements or changes as needed.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations and best practices related to contract management.
- Mentor and train junior contract representatives, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Participate in contract negotiations with potential clients, utilizing strong communication and negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contract-related activities.
- Proactively identify potential contract renewal or expansion opportunities and work with relevant stakeholders to pursue them.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contracts are in compliance with company policies and financial requirements.
- Continuously evaluate and improve contract management processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Contract Management, Preferably In A Large Corporation
Strong Knowledge Of Contract Law And Negotiation Skills
Experience With Government Contracts And Regulations, Including Federal Acquisition Regulations (Far) And Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (Dfars)
