- Develop and implement process safety management and mechanical integrity strategies and programs in line with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation plans to minimize risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process safety and mechanical integrity are integrated into all aspects of operations.
- Review and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in process safety and mechanical integrity.
- Provide technical expertise and support to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to identify and resolve potential safety issues and equipment failures.
- Conduct audits and inspections to assess process safety and mechanical integrity compliance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on process safety and mechanical integrity best practices.
- Manage and maintain documentation related to process safety and mechanical integrity programs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to process safety and mechanical integrity and make recommendations for implementation as needed.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Participate in incident investigations and provide technical support to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of process safety and mechanical integrity programs and make recommendations for improvements.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work to ensure the safety and reliability of operations.
- Collaborate with external organizations and agencies as needed to ensure compliance and best practices are being followed.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Chemical, Mechanical, Or Process Engineering Is Required For This Role. This Ensures A Strong Technical Foundation And Understanding Of Process Safety Principles.
Knowledge Of Process Safety Regulations And Standards: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Relevant Process Safety Regulations And Standards Such As Osha Psm, Api Rp 750, And Nfpa 70E. This Demonstrates Their Ability To Effectively Implement And Maintain Process Safety Management Systems.
Experience In Process Safety Management: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Process Safety Management, Preferably In The Chemical Or Petrochemical Industry. This Includes Experience With Conducting Process Hazard Analyses, Managing Change Management Processes, And Leading Process Safety Audits.
Strong Mechanical Integrity Background: The Role Of A Process Safety Management & Mechanical Integrity Engineer Requires A Strong Background In Mechanical Engineering Principles. This Includes Experience With Equipment Design, Maintenance, And Inspection, As Well As A Thorough Understanding Of Asme Codes And Standards.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: As The Process Safety Management & Mechanical Integrity Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading And Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams. Therefore, Strong Communication And Leadership Skills Are Essential For This Role.
