As a Principal Attorney at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing legal counsel to our company and ensuring compliance with all legal regulations.   1. Provide legal counsel to Honeywell on a variety of corporate legal matters, including but not limited to contracts, compliance, intellectual property, and litigation.
  2. Stay up-to-date on all relevant laws and regulations that impact Honeywell's business operations, and proactively advise the company on potential legal risks or changes in the legal landscape.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executives and other legal team members, to develop and implement strategies that align with Honeywell's business objectives while also mitigating legal risks.
  4. Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making and provide guidance on complex legal issues.
  5. Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external legal counsel, government agencies, and industry organizations to stay informed of legal developments and best practices.
  7. Oversee and manage legal disputes and litigation, working closely with outside counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for Honeywell.
  8. Train and educate employees on legal and compliance matters to promote a culture of ethical and legal responsibility within the company.
  9. Provide leadership and mentorship to other members of the legal team, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  10. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the legal department, identifying and implementing process and procedure enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience As A Practicing Attorney, With A Focus On Corporate Law And/Or Litigation

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Attorneys And Support Staff

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Relevant State And Federal Laws And Regulations, Particularly In The Areas Of Business, Contracts, And Intellectual Property

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With A Track Record Of Successfully Handling Complex Legal Matters For A Large Corporation.
