- Conduct legal research and provide support to HR and Employment attorneys on various employment law matters.
- Review and analyze employment contracts, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents, including demand letters, pleadings, and discovery requests.
- Maintain and organize legal files and documents, including case files, contracts, and correspondence.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding legal matters and provide timely updates to attorneys.
- Attend meetings and take detailed notes to assist attorneys in case preparation.
- Assist with the preparation and coordination of employee trainings on HR and employment law topics.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in employment laws and regulations and provide updates to the legal team.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as HR and Compliance, to ensure legal compliance in company policies and procedures.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and managing correspondence for the legal team.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the legal team.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency.
- Support attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
- Uphold Honeywell's values and code of conduct at all times.
Excellent Organizational And Communication Skills
Strong Knowledge Of Employment Laws And Regulations
Bachelor's Degree In Paralegal Studies, Human Resources, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Paralegal Or Hr/Employment Role
Ability To Handle Sensitive And Confidential Information With Discretion And Professionalism
