- Utilize a variety of testing methods and equipment, such as ultrasonic, radiographic, and magnetic particle testing.
- Follow established testing procedures and protocols to ensure accurate and consistent results.
- Analyze test data and identify any abnormalities or defects, reporting them to the appropriate personnel.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during testing.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of testing procedures and results.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing testing.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in non-destructive testing.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and new testing techniques.
- Communicate testing results and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
- Mentor and train junior technicians on non-destructive testing techniques and procedures.

Certification: A Non-Destructive Test Technician - Level 2 At Honeywell Must Hold A Valid Level 2 Certification In At Least One Ndt Method Such As Ultrasonic Testing, Radiographic Testing, Or Magnetic Particle Testing. This Certification Should Be In Accordance With Industry Standards, Such As Asnt Or Nas-410.
Experience: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Performing Ndt Inspections In An Industrial Setting. This Experience Should Include Working With A Variety Of Materials And Equipment, As Well As Interpreting And Evaluating Inspection Results.
Knowledge Of Ndt Techniques: A Strong Understanding Of Various Ndt Techniques And Their Applications Is Essential For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Equipment Operation, Test Procedures, And Data Analysis. Familiarity With Ndt Codes And Standards Is Also Important.
Attention To Detail: Non-Destructive Test Technicians Must Possess A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Ensure Accurate And Reliable Test Results. They Must Be Able To Identify And Interpret Subtle Indications And Defects, And Have A Strong Understanding Of The Potential Impact Of These Defects On The Performance Of The Tested Components.
Communication Skills: Effective Communication Skills Are Crucial For A Non-Destructive Test Technician At Honeywell. They Must Be Able To Clearly And Accurately Document Inspection Results And Communicate Any Findings Or Concerns To Engineers, Supervisors, And Other Team Members. They Should Also Be Able To Work Collaboratively With Others And Follow Instructions Carefully.
