Material Handler 2 (2nd shift)

1. Receive and process incoming materials and ensure they are accurately logged and stored in the designated areas.
2. Prepare materials for shipment by verifying quantity and quality of products and packaging them securely.
3. Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move materials throughout the facility.
4. Collaborate with production and inventory teams to ensure adequate levels of materials are available for production needs.
5. Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels and report any discrepancies to management.
6. Follow established safety and quality protocols to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of trash and recycling materials.
8. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth flow of materials and resolve any issues that may arise.
9. Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
10. Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and make suggestions for increased efficiency and productivity.
11. Assist with training and mentoring new Material Handlers as needed.
12. Attend team meetings and contribute ideas and suggestions for improving overall supply chain operations.
13. Keep accurate records of material movements and transactions using computer systems or manual documentation.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
