  1. Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  2. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of existing internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks.
  4. Provide guidance and training to cross-functional teams on internal control best practices.
  5. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with audit requirements.
  6. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures.
  7. Communicate any identified deficiencies or weaknesses in internal controls to senior management and provide recommendations for remediation.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure internal controls remain effective and compliant.
  9. Act as a subject matter expert on internal controls and provide guidance to colleagues across the organization.
  10. Lead and mentor a team of internal control professionals to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure their understanding and cooperation with internal control processes.
  12. Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and legal, to ensure alignment and consistency in internal control practices.
  13. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of internal control procedures.
  14. Prepare and present reports to senior management on the status of internal controls and any identified risks.
  15. Adhere to company values and ethical standards in all aspects of work.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Internal Controls, Risk Management, Or Audit.

  • Knowledge Of Relevant Regulations And Standards (E.g. Sarbanes-Oxley, Coso, Iso 9001).

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Abilities, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
