  1. Assist in financial analysis and reporting: The intern will be responsible for assisting the finance team in analyzing financial data, creating reports, and identifying trends and insights.
  2. Support budgeting and forecasting processes: The intern will work closely with the finance team to support the budgeting and forecasting processes, including data collection, analysis, and preparation of reports.
  3. Conduct research and prepare presentations: The intern will be responsible for conducting research on industry trends, competitors, and other relevant financial information, and preparing presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Participate in financial projects: The intern will have the opportunity to work on various financial projects, such as cost-saving initiatives, process improvements, and financial modeling.
  5. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures: The intern will be expected to adhere to all financial policies and procedures, and assist in identifying areas for improvement.
  6. Assist in month-end close: The intern will support the finance team in the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: The intern will work closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to gain a holistic understanding of the business and support cross-functional projects.
  8. Develop and maintain financial models: The intern will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models to support decision-making and forecasting.
  9. Learn and apply finance principles: The intern will have the opportunity to learn and apply finance principles in a real-world setting, under the guidance of experienced professionals.
  10. Embrace a continuous learning mindset: The intern will be expected to continuously seek opportunities to learn and develop their skills, and apply new knowledge to their work at Honeywell.
