- Perform thorough inspections of aerospace products and components to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.
- Utilize advanced measuring equipment and techniques to accurately assess the quality and functionality of products.
- Identify and report any potential defects, malfunctions, or safety issues to the appropriate parties.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve any quality-related issues and implement improvements.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of all inspections and findings.
- Conduct final acceptance inspections on completed products before they are released to customers.
- Provide guidance and support to junior inspectors and assist with training as needed.
- Monitor and maintain the calibration and maintenance schedule for all inspection equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and advancements in aerospace technology to ensure compliance and effectiveness of inspection processes.
- Uphold the company's commitment to excellence and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Faa Certification: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid Faa Inspector Authorization (Ia) And Have A Thorough Understanding Of Faa Regulations And Standards.
Experience: A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As An Faa Inspector Is Required, With At Least 3 Years At Level 3 Or Above. Experience In The Aerospace Industry Is Preferred.
Knowledge Of Honeywell Processes: Familiarity With Honeywell's Inspection Processes, Procedures, And Quality Standards Is Essential For This Role.
Attention To Detail: The Candidate Must Have Excellent Attention To Detail And Be Able To Identify And Report Any Discrepancies Or Non-Conformities In The Inspection Process.
Communication Skills: Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role As The Candidate Will Be Required To Communicate With Various Stakeholders, Including Engineers, Technicians, And Management.
