  1. Perform CMM inspections on a variety of aerospace products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  2. Utilize CMM technology and software to accurately measure and analyze product dimensions and features.
  3. Identify and report any deviations or discrepancies in product dimensions or features.
  4. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
  5. Maintain accurate and organized records of inspection results and communicate them effectively to relevant parties.
  6. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures while operating CMM equipment.
  7. Continuously improve and streamline CMM inspection processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  8. Stay updated on industry advancements and developments in CMM technology and techniques.
  9. Train and mentor junior CMM inspectors on proper procedures and techniques.
  10. Take initiative to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with CMM equipment.
  11. Communicate and coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality standards are met.
  12. Uphold the company's reputation for delivering top-quality products to customers.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Cmm Technology: A Cmm Quality Inspector At Honeywell Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Coordinate Measuring Machine (Cmm) Technology, Including Programming, Operation, And Troubleshooting.

  • Quality Control Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Quality Control, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Aerospace Industry. This Experience Should Include The Use Of Cmm Equipment And Interpreting Inspection Results.

  • Familiarity With Industry Standards: Honeywell Operates In Highly Regulated Industries Such As Aerospace And Defense. As Such, A Cmm Quality Inspector Should Be Knowledgeable About Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As As9100 And Iso 9001.

  • Attention To Detail: The Ability To Pay Close Attention To Detail Is Essential For A Cmm Quality Inspector. This Job Requires Precise Measurements And Analysis, So Candidates Must Be Able To Accurately Identify Any Deviations Or Defects In The Product.

  • Strong Communication Skills: A Cmm Quality Inspector Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Inspection Results And Any Issues Or Concerns To Relevant Stakeholders. This Includes Written Reports And Verbal Communication With Team Members, Engineers, And Other Departments.
