- Conduct research and development on welding techniques and materials used in the production of Honda vehicles.
- Design and implement welding processes for the production of new vehicle models.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure that welding processes and materials meet quality and safety standards.
- Analyze and troubleshoot welding issues and develop solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure compliance with welding standards and regulations.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of welding equipment and make recommendations for improvements or upgrades.
- Develop and maintain documentation of welding processes, materials, and procedures.
- Train and mentor welding technicians and production staff on proper welding techniques and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with suppliers to source and evaluate welding materials and equipment.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving measures in welding processes.
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in welding technology and materials.
- Communicate with management and other teams to provide updates on welding-related projects and initiatives.
Bachelor's Degree In Welding Engineering, Materials Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Welding And Materials Engineering, Preferably In The Automotive Industry.
Knowledge Of Various Welding Processes, Such As Mig, Tig, And Resistance Welding.
Familiarity With Materials Testing And Characterization Techniques, Including Destructive And Non-Destructive Methods.
Strong Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Work Independently As Well As In A Team Environment.
