- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our manufacturing equipment lines, including their capabilities, limitations, and potential for improvement.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians in the design, development, and implementation of new manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any issues with equipment performance or functionality.
- Ensure that all manufacturing equipment lines are operating at optimal levels of efficiency, productivity, and safety.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
- Continuously monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing equipment and technology, and make recommendations for their implementation.
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment and processes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with equipment suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of parts and services.
- Train and educate team members on equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations and standards.
- Work closely with other departments, such as production, quality control, and supply chain, to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide technical support to resolve any equipment-related issues or challenges.
- Develop and manage budgets for equipment maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Participate in company-wide initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase profitability.
Extensive Experience: A Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Manufacturing Equipment Line Engineering, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading Projects And Managing Teams.
Technical Knowledge: In-Depth Knowledge Of Manufacturing Processes, Equipment, And Technologies, With A Strong Understanding Of Mechanical, Electrical, And Automation Systems.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability To Identify And Troubleshoot Complex Technical Issues Related To Equipment And Production Lines, And Develop Effective Solutions To Ensure Smooth Operations.
Project Management Skills: Proficiency In Project Management Methodologies, Including Planning, Budgeting, And Resource Management, To Oversee Multiple Projects Simultaneously And Ensure Timely Completion.
Team Leadership: Proven Leadership Skills With The Ability To Motivate And Mentor Team Members, Foster A Collaborative Work Environment, And Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives Within The Manufacturing Department.
