Job Description

Come join the Honda Motor Company team as an Events & PR Coordinator for our Power Equipment division! In this exciting role, you will be responsible for coordinating events and public relations efforts for our top-of-the-line power equipment products. We are looking for a highly organized and creative individual with a passion for event planning and PR who can help us showcase our innovative and high-quality power equipment to our customers. If you have a strong background in events coordination and PR, as well as a deep understanding of the power equipment industry, we want to hear from you!

  1. Coordinate and execute all aspects of events, including planning, logistics, and on-site management.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with event vendors, sponsors, and partners.
  3. Create and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective strategies are implemented.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to develop event concepts, themes, and messaging that align with the company's brand and objectives.
  5. Manage all event-related communications, including invitations, RSVPs, and follow-ups.
  6. Act as a liaison between Honda Motor Company and event attendees, providing excellent customer service and addressing any issues or concerns.
  7. Develop and implement PR strategies to elevate the company's power equipment division and products in the market.
  8. Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and other promotional materials.
  9. Monitor media coverage and social media engagement related to events and the power equipment division.
  10. Identify and pursue new PR opportunities to increase brand awareness and product visibility.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive landscape to inform event and PR strategies.
  12. Analyze event and PR data to measure success and make recommendations for future improvements.
  13. Manage event and PR calendars and deadlines, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  14. Represent the Honda Motor Company and the power equipment division at industry events and conferences.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional image for the company at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Marketing, Communications, Public Relations Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Event Planning And/Or Public Relations, Preferably In The Power Equipment Industry.

  • Strong Organizational Skills And Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Liaise With Internal And External Stakeholders.

  • Knowledge Of Power Equipment And The Outdoor Power Equipment Industry Is Preferred.
