Job Description

Software flashing and vehicle cybersecurity technical expert / project leader. Business Side leader managing development of servers, inspection tools, production tools and system development of the software flashing and manufacturing of cybersecurity in vehicles. Understand North America’s unique LET requirements for AF, VQ and support department s(PE, MQ, & Shoken) Provide manufacturing technical viewpoint for development of Cybersecurity step 3. Understand AF Process and overall North American impact to changes made with LET in AF. Work with LET 4.0 team to confirm LET server and hardware impact for security achievement. Coordinate with OTA/Factory Flashing team. Develop setup, testing and training material for the plants Ensure that limited/no negative impact to AF (& VQ) characteristics. Work with IT to develop highly available solutions.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in project leadership

  • Ability to read and understand Honda ECU specs and hardware datasheets

  • Understanding of On-board diagnostic (OBD) regulations and familiarity with vehicle communication networks such as CAN, K-line and Ethernet

  • Strong understanding of IT systems and North American IT requirements
